Development of Sales Tracking System using MS .NET Compact

The Challenge
Enable client's sales force to collect offline sales information and integrate those
with corporate sales system.
The Solution
Microsoft .NET Compact Framework (CF) based solution with MS Pocket PCs was developed,
taking CF's advantages like, efficiently works on devices that are limited in memory,
resources and must conserve battery power. Use of CF greatly simplified the process
of creating and deploying applications to mobile devices.
With this application, sales persons were able to enter offline sales information
in their pocket PCs. Next time, when they come to corporate office, this offline
sales information was used to integrate with centralized sales system.
